Lotro: Angmar Slayer Deed Guide, Episode 4 Uruk & Orc Slayer

In this episode of the Angmar Slayer Deed Guide, we hunt down some Uruk. There are roughly 15 Uruks on Angmar’s Landscape, So we hop back and forth from Mor Maudhúl & Carn Dum. Should be enough to keep you killing Uruks all day long. You can also get some counts on your Orc Slayer Deed as well. Not the best place tho, Check out this episode: Click Here for the best way to complete your Orc Slayer deed. Our starting point is Gath Forthnír, in north-eastern Angmar. Best way to get there is to ask a Hunter to take you to East Angmar. If you are on Landroval, Hit me up. I can port you out there.

, The mighty Uruks form the elite forces of the armies of Angmar. Having defeated so many of thier kind in battle, your name now commands a certain respect — and even deeper enmity — among their ranks.

Lotro: Angmar Slayer Deed Guide Episode 2, Worm Slayer.

Misshapen half-children of the great Dragons of old, the worms of Angmar possess a fair portion of their elder brood’s power and cunning, yet you have overcome their power and proven their match.

Welcome to episode 2 of the Angmar Slayer Deed Guide, In the episode we head to Malenhad, To slay some worms! For the Angmar Worm Slayer Deed. We start our adventure in Aughaire, Western Angmar, Ill let Elahndria take it from here! Cya in game!

Worms have long infested the swamps of Angmar and the surrounding environs — yet they are rarely used as beasts of war by the Angmarim, for they are very difficult to tame and aggressive to a fault. Most are as likely to turn on their handler as any enemy.

Lotro: Evendim Slayer Deed Guide, Episode 3.. Kergrim Slayer

ScreenShot00020

Many of the foul Kergrim appear to have infested the valley in which the tombs of the ancient Dúnedain kings can be found. No doubt the Rangers of the North are enraged by the potential desecration of their ancestors’ tombs by these beasts, but they can spare few men to root them out. ( The Kergrim seem to delight in consuming carrion and bones of any sort — including their own kind, should the opportunity arise. What perverse evil might have created such a repulsive creature, you cannot say, though many have fallen at your hand. Your efforts to destroy the Kergrim infesting Evendim have been fruitful, but some of the beasts persist in the area. With luck, the Rangers charged with guarding these lands will be able to eliminate the remaining Kergrim in due time.) Lore curtesy of Lotrowiki: https://lotro-wiki.com/index.php/Kergrim-slayer

This is one of the more painful deeds in Evendim, if you are only doing deeds to gain Lotro Points.. then I would skip this one.. it is very do-able.. but quite difficult if someone else is farming  them.. If you are doing them for the traits.. then slay away!! Beware that some of these mobs are signature, so if you are on level, watch out!

Please like & subscribe to the blog and my YouTube channel! Its the easiest way to show your support, I do this for fun, and not to make money, So I will never include ads in my videos (unless YouTube includes them) Thanks for watching, and stay tuned for more videos in the coming days!

See you in game!

Hullo! Middle-Earthlings!!

ScreenShot00009

With the recent news of Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online being acquired by Standing Stone Games, My drive to play Lotro has been renewed. It feels great to be back in game, and I’m looking forward to what the future “May” bring. I’m hoping that the quality that has been lost since the free to play launch will be returning.

With that said, Lets talk about what will be returning here at Virtual World Chronicles! 1st off, I will be continuing the popular Slayer Deed Guide, Video series. I already have the following zones completed:

Lotro: Bree-land Deeds, Lotro: Ered Luin Deeds, Lotro: Lone-lands Deeds, Lotro: Shire Deeds, & Lotro: Trollshaws Deeds.

The series will continue with all the pre-level 50 zones, once those are complete we will continue with Moria and onwards.. I’m looking forward to creating this series again, it gives me the opportunity to explore Middle-Earth, and sometimes find things I may have missed in the 9 years I have been playing.

The Lotro: Into The Wild series will also be coming back, In a new form.. This series will be mostly for new players, and will be called, Things to do in Lotro, Daily Quests, Crafting Instances, Skirmishes & More. Things veteran players may have forgotten about, and new players can discover.

I will also be working on updating the Daily/Repeatable Quest List. This quest list will be ideal for those working on reputation, or just looking to find something to do outside the norm.

You can find all my video series over at my Youtube Page.

You can also follow me on Twitter @doug200463 New videos will be announced via twitter as soon as they become available. Thanks for stopping by, and a Big Thank You! to those of you who have stuck around during my absence.

Lotro: Trollshaws Slayer Deed Guide: Worm & Crawler

celtbar4

Video #2 for today! We are back in the Trollshaws, this is a much longer video, but it covers 2 deeds, Worm Slayer & Crawler slayer.. some of the areas we visit in this video have both Crawlers & Worms so I didn’t see any reason to record separate videos for each deed. I decided this 1/2 way through the recording of crawler slayer, that’s why you’ll not hear me mention Worms till about 1/2  through the video Open-mouthed smile Enjoy the video folks! and thanks for watching! Cya in game!

Oh and you’ll notice I start to sound like I’m talking through my nose.. I didn’t notice that it was so bad until I had recorded all of Trollshaws & Northdowns.. and I’m not re-recording Open-mouthed smile so poke fun if you want! Open-mouthed smile

2012 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2012 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

600 people reached the top of Mt. Everest in 2012. This blog got about 5,100 views in 2012. If every person who reached the top of Mt. Everest viewed this blog, it would have taken 9 years to get that many views.

Click here to see the complete report.
